Not working well for iPhone X

I have use this app since I had my iPhone 5 (2010 ish) and now I have an iPhone X. Having had a number of phones in between I have gotten a lot of great use out of this app however I Purchased the iPhone X for the camera enhancements among other things and it’s been pretty awesome so far however Photoshop express tends to lock up after making adjustments to a photo and then saving in Photoshop express. Please note that this only occurs when I select a photo in my camera roll then select edit then choose the circle with the three dots in order to reveal editing apps from the menu below and then choose Photoshop express. If I launch Photoshop express app then find the photo then process it then save to camera roll it seems to work fine but that does not usually suit my workflow. Is this a problem with the app or is this a problem with something else?
